Alasdair | Director
Alasdair is a director and co-founder of Braw Data Ltd. An economist by background, Alasdair has worked in and with the voluntary sector for over 20 years in marketing & fundraising, research management, and academia. He has led large programmes of social research, including working with complex survey and administrative data, and has published extensively internationally on charity data, finance and regulation.
Beth | Research analyst
Beth is an experienced social researcher and data analyst. She has extensive experience of data preparation, analysis and visualisation. Beth has worked for Braw Data on survey development and analysis, with a particular focus on data visualisation, on projects such as the survey of digital youth work for Youthlink Scotland.
Jennifer | Data visualisation
Jennifer is a graphic designer who specialised in research communication and data visualisation. She has a long track record of producing engaging design for print, web and social media to communicate research findings and data. Prior to working for Braw Data, Jennifer worked freelance for several years focusing on working with voluntary organisations and small businesses.
Diarmuid | Director
Diarmuid is a director and co-founder of Braw Data. He is a sociologist who has worked in the voluntary sector for 13 years in research, data support, and academia. He has published extensively on the regulation and accountability of civil society, and has collaborated on bespoke pieces of research with regulators, data infrastructure organisations and large foundations including the Scottish Charity Regulator, Benefacts and Power to Change.
Kate | Research associate
Kate is an experienced data analyst and social scientist. She has advanced experience of conducting statistical analysis, including modelling gender wage gaps in the Young Women’s Trust project and analysing equity and diversity data for Power to Change. Kate has recently completed an MSc in Applied Social Research.
